Here are two recent door refinishing projects:

  1. A dark blue from the British Standard Collection on wood and metal (something) doors in excellent condition in gloss hollandlac.
  2. A bright blue to an old front door which was well-worn on both inside and outside surfaces and the frame. I’ve used satin hollandlac paint here. Getting the original set and handle to work and be secure is a challenge also. The metal storm door was refreshed in black satin and weather strips improved.

Key reasons why Fine Paints of Europe is Preferred for Front Doors

High-quality pigments:

Their paints use concentrated, finely ground pigments that provide exceptional color depth and resistance to penetration or fading. while various paint brands might appear similar when freshly applied, over time, Fine Paints of Europe consistently demonstrates superior durability and longevity

Marine-grade durability:

Many Fine Paints of Europe options, like “Hollandlac Brilliant”, are formulated with marine-grade quality, making them highly resistant to weather and wear. This makes a marine-grade paint a lasting value for homes that remain in excellent form over decades of snowy Twin Cities winters.

Excellent washability:

The paint can be easily cleaned without compromising the finish, ideal for a high-traffic area like a front door. It may be the doorway that most individuals who come and come use; which means having a finished doorway surface that is easy to remove fingerprints is a welcome perk.

Wide color palette:

A vast array of paint color choices empowers you to customize how your home introduces itself and your personal style. It’s easy to find the perfect shade for your home’s aesthetics and charm.

We also consider the finish’s reflectivity. A paint color palette refers to a selection of colors for a room, while paint sheen is the level of shine a paint finish has, such as flat, satin, or a high gloss paint finish.

Long-lasting finish:

Due to its high-quality ingredients, Fine Paints of Europe paint is known to retain its appearance for many years. The initial investment leads to long-term savings. Consider the example of this exceptional Linden Hills cottage; its exterior paint envelope will protect it for years to come.

The company draws inspiration from the Dutch tradition of beautifully painted doors, offering a classic aesthetic. For homeowners who enjoy the pleasantries of a European look, the pleasing outcome draws many complements.

Brand repution:

The brand is recognized for its premium quality and craftsmanship, often considered the “gold standard” in exterior paints. Some of our clients have stated that “The doors look like giant mirrors.” The reason behind the companies certification is its commitment to excellence and because its products require specific painting knowledge in its application.
